Peruvian Pink Opal in a .925 Sterling Silver Princess Style Necklace - One of my favorite pieces!!

The Princess Style is one of my original designs, and is woven entirely in .925 sterling silver wire. The Opal cabochon, from the country of Peru, has been woven into a secure frame that also utilizes my Wire Helix Design at the top of the pendant frame (My first original design). The necklace frame is woven tightly in different weaves, bent evenly on both sides, and the ends firmly secured. All ends, even the curls, have been stitched down, using the same fine wire.

The entire frame measures 5 1/4 inches (13.5 CM) at the widest point across the top. The stone itself measures 1 1/2 by 1 inch (40 by 26mm) in size. From the top of the frame to the bottom of the pendant (the drop), the measurement is 4.5 inches (11.5 CM). The frame has been formed to fit your chest naturally, and isn't flat.

The chain is entirely handmade of sturdy .925 sterling silver wire, and checked for rough edges. From end to end, the necklace measures 19.5 inches, not including the drop. It is adjustable up to 18 inches, but I can add more links to make it longer, if need be.

Your necklace is a one of a kind, and had been sealed twice with a professional non-toxic jewelry sealer to help deter tarnish. She will ship in a velvet travel/storage bag, with care instructions, and a cleaning cloth.
