This tutorial is for my original woven wire pendant design, The Swans Neck Pendant. This is a 32 page .pdf file with over 82 color instructional pictures and dialog. You will learn how to weave a wire pendant frame, back the pendant, and make a one of a kind bail with beads.
Tutorial Level: Advanced
You should have prior knowledge of wire work, weaving, bending, coiling, and attaching beads. This tutorial is meant not only to teach new skills, but to enhance skills you may already have, and to give you the working knowledge to use this tutorial as a step off point to help you develop new designs of your own.
Material List:
20-gauge dead soft wire
30-gauge dead soft wire
One 30mm cabochon or bead
12-13 4mm beads. I use copper in this tutorial.
LOS or Gun Blue, optional
Tool List:
Needle Nose or Round Nose Pliers
Nylon Jaw Pliers
Ring Vice, Clamp, or Tape to hold the ends of your base wires
Sharpie
Ruler
