Material from Finland, the only place in the world this material can be found. Don't be fooled; this is authentic and has rare silver flash, too.
Can only be found in one place on earth, Ylämaa spectrolite quarries, Ylämaa area, Lappeenranta, South Karelia, Finland, and is the most beautiful of all the Labradorites, due to it´s unique and largest range of colors. Spectrolite was found in 1941 when the Finnish people were building a defense line on the eastern border. The mining of the gemstone in started on a small scale, increasing the 50s.
Super great cut and polish all around. This is a "substantial" stone, meaning it is not thin. Medium centered dome. Nice flat flashy back, and rounded edge flat sides. Professional cut.
